Our Governors

We are pleased to introduce the Local Governing Committee (LGC), including any roles or positions that each Governor holds. All members of the LGC disclose any financial or business interests they may hold and these are shown alongside the Governor photographs. Our LGC have a wide range of skills and expertise which supports our mission to continually improve all aspects of our academy.

As a Local Governing Committee, we have three core functions:

• To ensure the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
• To hold the executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the performance of staff;
• To oversee the financial performance of the organisation and make sure that its money is well spent.

Our LGC meet once each half term to provide challenge and support to Senior Leaders, to ensure that we are successful in meeting our School Improvement Priorities, and that we are following our strategies and managing our resources well. Senior Leaders and the LGC share a common vision and work in partnership to ‘Continue the Learning Journey Together.’
